Gary Michael's Webpage
First and foremost, I am the father of a four-year-old boy. I have lived in Southern California since the age of one, and since elementary school, I've had a fascination with writing (and sometimes illustrating) adventurous fiction stories. This fascination developed into a passion for writing adult fiction, and with my father being a police officer and then a prosecutor, I became inspired to write in the mystery and thriller genres after hearing about his intriguing cases and the often brilliantly simple ways in which they were solved.
I received my BA in Honors in English and my MA in English Literature. I worked as a screenwriter for a children's program, which taught me how to be flexible in my writing and appeal to a different audience, and I currently work as a technical writer for aerospace, but throughout my life I have rigorously continued fiction novel writing, honing my skills until I believed I was ready to embark on a solid career in the field. I am certain now that that moment has arrived.
